We are greyhound lovers who facilitate the commercial operation of our vibrant sport of greyhound racing. GRNSW is invested at every stage of the greyhound lifecycle from breeding, racing to rehoming. GRNSW is committed to the long-term sustainability of the industry by caring for our People, Pups and Participants. GRNSW is a body corporate constituted by the Greyhound Racing Act 2017, and charged with providing strategic direction and leadership in the commercial management of the industry in NSW. In its role, GRNSW promotes the exciting racing aspect of the industry, as well as the equally important rehoming of our athletes.
These roles are working at the Muswellbrook Greyhound Racing Track, we have multiple positions available.
Role Summary:
Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) is currently seeking reliable and enthusiastic individuals to join our team at Muswellbrook Greyhounds as Racecourse Attendants. These are casual roles supporting the safe, efficient, and professional delivery of race meetings. Muswellbrook currently hosts approximately 35 race meetings per year, and full on-the-job training will be provided.
Whether you have experience working with greyhounds or are simply eager to get involved in the racing industry, we welcome your application.
Responsibilities:
* Adhere to animal welfare and race-day integrity policies and rules.
* Work across a range of race-day duties including on-track roles, kennelling, or a combination of both.
* Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene in kennels and surrounding areas.
* Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth race-day operations.
* Ensure compliance with GRNSW and greyhound racing policies and procedures.
Requirements:
* Greyhound Racing experience is highly desirable but not essential
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
* Casual shift work - we race Thursday (from 10.00am) and Saturday (from 6.00am). Shifts are approximately 4-6 hours.
* Preferably applicants are aged 18 and over.
