Join Resonance as our new Operations Manager
Are you ready to be the heartbeat of a dynamic and diverse team? At Resonance, we drive ideas into action, and we're looking for our first ever Operations Manager to keep our wheels turning and our team supported.
About us: At Resonance we are a team of strategists, communicators, analysts, planners, and project wranglers. With 25 people across Hobart, Merimbula, and soon Brisbane, we're small enough to know everyone's coffee order but big enough to work on exciting infrastructure projects. We value culture and fit just as much as capability.
Who we're looking for: Working from our Hobart office and reporting to the Director, you'll handle finance, marketing, HR, payroll, business systems, proposals, office vibes, and more. If it keeps Resonance humming, you'll have a hand in it. You will have as your direct report our current part time (0.6) Accounts/Admin Assistant.
You're the type of person who:
* Jumps in and figures things out.
* Stays calm when things get messy.
* Likes variety (and maybe even thrives on it).
* Can balance detail with big-picture thinking.
* Speaks up to ensure our decisions are well considered.
* Knows when to roll up your sleeves and when to step back and guide others.
What we'd love you to bring:
* A collaborative, can-do approach.
* 3–5+ years in operations, office management, or a similar role.
* Strong financial literacy.
* Comfort with Office 365, HR/payroll systems, and a bit of AI.
* Organisational and communication superpowers.
* A knack for balancing structure with flexibility.
* Bonus points for having tertiary qualifications in business, HR or similar.
