Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.Base pay rangeA$90,000.00/yr - A$120,000.00/yrDirect message the job poster from Ivory GroupPublic Sector Recruitment Partner | Engineering, Construction and Project ManagementBENEFITSPaying between $90k to $120k + super depending on experience3% Award increase and 12% superannuation from July 2025Join local council in this permanent role ensuring stability and career progressionABOUT THE POSITIONAs a Senior Project Officer in local council, you will be responsible for providing effective project management and site representation across a range of construction and maintenance projects, including direct management of contract works, and providing support to Project Managers in daily tasks, including scheduling meetings, organising resources, and tracking project progress.DUTIESProject Management: Oversee the full lifecycle of construction and maintenance projects, from initial planning and design to implementation and evaluation.Coordination: Work with various stakeholders, including internal teams, external contractors, and community representatives.Reporting: Prepare and present project reports to management, council members, and the public.Budget Management: Manage project budgets, ensuring financial discipline, and tracking project costs.Risk Management: Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks.Quality Assurance: Ensure that projects meet quality standards and project requirementSKILLS AND EXPERIENCEBachelor of Construction Management/Civil Engineering or a related fieldGeneral Construction Induction Card (white card)Strong communication skills, both verbal and written with proficiency in Microsoft SuiteCULTUREBe part of a supportive team and get involved in training and development to constantly upskill and stay on top of industry trends.
