Who are we looking for
Were seeking an IS Technician to provide client-focused technical support and service on supported GHD technologies applications and platforms enabling the delivery of work to GHDs clients. This role reports to the IS Team Leader NSW / ACT.
In this agile role you will :
- Complete assigned tasks via the ticketing system manager and other sources to meet or exceed service levels.
- Effectively diagnose and resolve client issues to minimise recurrence.
- Maintain professional friendly and helpful interactions with clients at all times.
- Accurately update and / or log all tasks / client requests in the ticketing system.
- Effectively prioritise tasks to ensure service levels / deadlines are met.
- Keep your manager updated on job status potential issues and other relevant info.
- Report identified risks to your manager in accordance with the GHD Risk Management Framework.
- Escalate and communicate incidents to other relevant internal IS teams.
- Work collaboratively with ISHelp and build productive and supportive relationships with other IS teams.
- Maintain integrity and governance by adhering to standard service desk procedures and IS security protocols.
- Build good relationships with clients in your office / region.
- Take opportunities to educate and coach clients to increase their technical skills and encourage self-service.
- Portray a positive image for IS by maintaining dress code personal hygiene and communication standards.
- Self-motivation : continually build your knowledge of GHDs business and technologies and keep up to date on industry trends and technologies.
- Work independently and demonstrate self-motivation.
What you will bring to the team :
- Independent work ethic decision making ownership mindset and organisational skills.
- Robust technical knowledge of Microsoft operating systems Azure Cloud Computing Services Desktop and Office hardware.
- Knowledge of network cabling and TCP / IP networks Active Directory Intune.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow platform.
- Excellent client service skills and communication skills.
- Strong analysis and problem-solving skills.
- Team player strong desire to learn resilient proactive.
- Ability to work autonomously and self-motivate to complete tasks and deliver before the deadlines.
- Flexibility with work hours and travelling to other locations if required.
Qualifications :
- Minimum 3 years experience in a helpdesk / desktop role.
- Industry Certification (e.g. ITIL AZURE MSCE) would be desirable.
