About The Position
Our Disability Support Workers provide direct support across a range of customer needs in our supported independent living accommodation settings (SIL/Group Homes). Responsibilities include:
* Delivering domestic and personal care assistance to clients
* Ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for customers
* Assisting clients to access and maintain positive connections to the community
* Operating in a 24/7 care environment with broad availability – weekends, overnight shifts and public/school holidays are required (generous penalties apply)
About You
* Ability and willingness to work shift work, regular sleepovers/active nights, weekends and public/school holidays with significant availability
* Resilience, confidence and the ability to work independently and as a team
* Strong communication skills with the ability to develop positive relationships
* Ability to obtain the NDIS Workers Screening Check prior to commencement
* Proficiency in using computers and learning new software/programs
* Smartphone and current Australian driver's licence
* You must have the right to live and work in Australia
