Aboriginal Heritage Consultant
We are seeking a highly skilled Archaeologist to join our team as an Aboriginal Heritage Consultant.
The successful candidate will have extensive experience in cultural heritage management, particularly in relation to Indigenous Australian cultures.
The role involves conducting site investigations, surveys and reporting while working closely with Traditional Owners.

Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct site investigations and surveys to identify and document cultural heritage sites
* Develop and implement culturally sensitive strategies for managing and preserving Aboriginal cultural heritage
* Collaborate with Traditional Owners to ensure their knowledge and values are respected and incorporated into all aspects of the work
* Prepare detailed reports and recommendations for clients and stakeholders
* Maintain accurate records and databases of cultural heritage information
Requirements:
* Master's degree in Archaeology or related field
* At least 5 years of experience in cultural heritage management, preferably in Aboriginal archaeology
* Demonstrated expertise in archaeological theory, methodology and practice
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
