Our digital channel plays a critical role in how we connect with surfers and customers around the world — and we’re looking for a Digital Trading & Product Insights Lead to help us trade smarter, convert better, and make confident, data led commercial decisions across our global ecommerce platforms.
About the Role
This role sits at the intersection of data, trading, performance and experience. You’ll be the go to insight partner for our Trading and Performance teams, providing clear analysis that helps optimise revenue, product visibility and conversion across all markets. You’ll also work closely with UX and Delivery teams to ensure customer insight shapes both the site experience and the digital product roadmap.
If you love finding the story in the data — and turning it into action — this role is for you.
What You’ll Be Doing
Supporting Trading
* Deliver clear, reliable trading reporting across revenue, sell through, AOV, returns and category performance.
* Proactively identify trends, risks and opportunities, flagging them early and framing them for action.
* Analyse on site merchandising effectiveness — product placement, sorting, filtering and promotions — and provide recommendations to improve performance.
Supporting Performance & CRM
* Own digital funnel analysis across all global sites, clearly highlighting drop offs and conversion drivers.
* Lead the A/B and multivariate testing roadmap, ensuring experiments are well designed, statistically sound and actionable.
* Help build evidence based cases for optimisation initiatives so teams can prioritise with confidence.
UX & Delivery Partnership
* Share customer behaviour insight with UX teams using tools like ContentSquare to inform experience and design decisions.
* Partner with Delivery teams to ensure new features are correctly tracked from launch and the roadmap reflects what will move commercial performance.
Product Insight & Data Foundations
* Analyse product page performance, engagement and returns to support smarter ranging and merchandising decisions.
* Maintain consistent digital trading metrics and develop accessible self service reporting that empowers teams across the business.
What You’ll Bring
* Strong background in digital analytics or ecommerce insight, with excellent Excel skills.
* Hands on experience with experience analytics tools such as ContentSquare, Hotjar or FullStory.
* Solid commercial understanding of ecommerce trading, including promotions, stock, markdowns and ranging.
* Confidence communicating insights clearly to non technical stakeholders.
* Proficiency in GA4 and BI tools such as Looker, Tableau or Power BI.
* Proven experience supporting CRO programs and translating test results into action.
* A proactive, curious mindset with the ability to stay calm and focused under pressure.
