About the Role
Reporting to LCA’s Communication Manager, the purpose of your role as the Communications and Engagement Officer is to strengthen communication and engagement across the LCA community. You will achieve this by creating compelling content, developing communication strategies, and supporting the implementation of initiatives that connect with stakeholders and share the LCA story.
Duties
4. Craft compelling content (print, digital, social, video): Tell captivating stories that resonate with the LCA community and bring the Christian message to life across various media platforms
5. Develop engaging webinars and podcasts: Conceptualise and create informative and interactive webinars and podcasts to connect with stakeholders and foster meaningful dialogue
6. Champion the LCA website and eNews (improve and report on data): Drive the ongoing development and user experience of the LCA website and eNews services, analysing data to optimise content and engagement strategies
7. Support strategic communication plans and projects: Collaborate with the Communications Manager to develop and implement effective communication plans for key projects, events, and news announcements
8. Contribute to communication policies and procedures: Assist in shaping clear and efficient communication protocols for the LCA, ensuring consistent messaging and seamless collaboration across departments
About You
9. Seasoned Communications Professional: A minimum of five + years of experience in a Communications, Journalism, or Media-related role, demonstrating a proven track record of success in creating and executing impactful communication strategies
10. Engaging Communicator: Excellent interviewing, presentation, and on-screen presence to captivate listeners and viewers
11. Active Listener and Connector: A passion for connecting with people, actively listening to their stories, and fostering meaningful dialogue within the Lutheran community
12. Grounded in Faith: A sound understanding of the Lutheran Church, its practices, and its culture
