12 months, with potential 6-month extensionAccommodation: Site campRemote Work Context: DIDO (employee to provide own transport)Reports To: Project Manager About the Role: We are assisting a mining client seeking an experienced Project (Site) Administrator to support their Major Projects Execution Team.
This role is ideal for someone high-energy, resilient, and organised — with a knack for Excel and a calm head under pressure.You'll provide key administrative support to ensure the smooth operation of a major construction project on-site.
This role suits someone comfortable working in a compliance-heavy, brownfields-style environment.Key Responsibilities (include but not limited to): Maintain accurate team rosters, track leave, and log hours for internal personnel.
Keep updated records of contractor resourcing, including hours worked and any absences.
Assist with onboarding for new staff and contractors — including organising equipment, inductions, vehicles, PPE, and documentation.
Support site purchasing via SAP (or similar), and assist with cost tracking in collaboration with the project team.
Manage travel, accommodation bookings, and training coordination.
Maintain office supplies, PPE stock, and organise replenishment as needed.
Handle general admin tasks such as document formatting, filing, meeting minutes, agendas, and reporting.
Track and schedule vehicle servicing and log weekly kilometres.
Liaise with IT for any access or connectivity issues.
Support end-of-month reporting and timesheet validations.
Assist with contract admin and procurement support.
Ensure safety-related documentation and admin are kept up to date.
Skills & Experience: Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably in mining, construction, or project-based environments.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel — formulas, logs, tracking sheets).
SAP experience is a plus, but not essential.
Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
Able to prioritise and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Confident communicator who can work autonomously and within a team.
Ability to work well under pressure and deal with competing priorities.
