If this sounds like a culture you would like to work in, you're invited to apply for this role.Job DescriptionThis position involves executing technical and functional responsibilities related to Quality support activities on project assignments and administrative functions (e.g., planning, organizing, interpreting, coordinating, and executing division or project tasks).
The role may serve as the Office Quality Manager for a Major Execution Office or the Project Quality Manager for medium- to large-sized projects, as needed.Communicate effectively at all levels to maintain liaison within or outside the department or project structures.Employ decision-making authority and recommendations impacting regional or business line Quality policies and programs.Serve as the project Quality Representative on medium to large projects, if necessary.Prepare project audit schedules, discipline activity plans for the quality function, and audit reports (internal and external), noting non-conformances and verifying effective corrective actions.Assist in developing an orientation program to familiarize project teams with the requirements of the Project Quality Plan and other Quality matters, if required.Act as lead Quality auditor, following up on audit findings and corrective actions.Perform other duties as assigned.Notice to Candidates:Background checks are carried out as part of any conditional offer, including education, professional registration, employment, references, passport verifications, and Global Watchlist screening.To be Considered Candidates:Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.Basic Job RequirementsAccredited four (4) year degree or equivalent in a relevant field, with fourteen (14) years of related experience, or a combination of education and experience totaling eighteen (18) years if non-degreed.
Some locations may have additional or different qualifications to meet local requirements.Effective communication skills with diverse audiences including management, coworkers, clients, vendors, contractors, and visitors.Relevant technical knowledge necessary to perform the job.Ability to learn and apply applicable local, state/province, and federal/national statutes and guidelines.Attention to detail and ability to work efficiently within time constraints.Preferred QualificationsDegree in engineering/technical field preferred.Advanced degree in engineering or administrative area preferred.Auditor certification by recognized outside agency (e.g., RAB, ASQ, IQA) preferred.Internal Lead Auditor certification required.At least twelve (12) years of related Quality/project experience.Strong interpersonal, communication, leadership, and decision-making skills.Requisition Number: 149883BRWorkforce: We are an equal opportunity employer.
