Description: Quick Overview Of The Role

We\u2019re on the lookout for a skilled Installation Technician to become a valued member of our Capalaba team, working full-time. The Installation Technician is responsible for providing guidance and technical support to plastics product installation including NuPod and applications made by customers at their sites.

Responsibilities

* Provide guidance and technical support to plastic products installation including NuPod and applications made by customers at their sites.
* Obtain feedback and improvement suggestions from site regarding concreters experience and comments of the particular engineering design, products design, overall product quality, quantities supplied and any innovation opportunities.
* Uphold NuPod brand.
* Act as trainer for the NuPod installations whilst also clarifying questions.
* Provide an informative demonstration and convince site on how easy, simple, and efficient NuPod is to install.
* Work with customers to understand their feedback about the product design and look for opportunities to improve it further by collecting data and report for feedback.
* Identify areas where the NS products and overall construction process can improve.
* Develop and update plastic products installation documentation to serve as guidance and training information material for concreters and builders.
* Ensure all customer key staff are adequately trained in all aspects of the NuPod and the correct documentation is maintained, with quality observation checks.
* Provide installation training to NuPod reseller staff, to ensure they can provide the same level of service for their customers on site.
* Take the appropriate actions to resolve issues as required and escalating anything that could be detrimental to the business or the customer staff.
* Ensure the required product quality is checked on site, whereby the handling and traceability is considered, and documentation is created accordingly to ensure the correct specifications and product characteristics are met.
* Coach, train and develop customers staff members and assisting them where needed to fulfil their tasks in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications and Skills

* Current Driver's License.
* Strong administration skills and competency in Microsoft Office applications: Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint etc.
* Highly developed written and verbal communications skills with effective rapport building skills with a varied audience and fantastic phone etiquette.
* Ability to build and maintain effective relationships with team members, senior management, and other stakeholders.
* Willingness to travel regularly within Queensland and interstate and prepared to learn.
* Physically fit to demonstrate the NuPod installation whilst also sharing knowledge on application.
* Previous experience within the residential building industry - slabs production and installation highly regarded.
