Job Title: Financial Operations Specialist
We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Operations Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our finance department, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day financial operations of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:
* Review and process supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with purchase orders and received goods.
* Manage payments in accordance with the scheduled payment run and log received payments to appropriate accounts.
* Reconcile accounts using banking reports and accounting software, ensuring data integrity.
* Oversee and review daily fund valuations prepared by fund administrators before market release.
* Address investor queries, collaborating with internal account managers and investor services teams.
* Assist in coordinating year-end activities for Australian funds, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Prior experience in accounts payable/accounts receivable/fund administration/fund operations or other finance/data-related roles.
* Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
* Analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail when handling large volumes of data.
* Strong organizational and time management abilities, capable of managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
* The ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
* A reliable, structured, and proactive approach to assigned tasks, ensuring efficiency and productivity.
