Beneficent is an Injury Management and Career Coaching organisation that assists people with an injury/disability to remain in, or return to the workplace, or find new work. Beneficent provides career coaching and capacity building to assist people with an injury or disability grow community connection, develop career goals, develop independence and/or a career path. This assists people to build their capacity to return to work or enter new employment.
Our services are based on a trauma informed approach that utilises the "It Pays to Care" philosophy of empowerment, collaboration, fairness, compassion and respect.

You will be responsible for assisting clients in a variety of ways – this could be assisting people:
· with a work injury to remain at, or return to work in their usual role in a safe and sustainable way
· with a work injury set a new career path and transition to safe new employment
· with a non-work related disability set a career path and find new employment – this may include school leavers.
Depending on your qualifications, additional services can be delivered to clients requiring assistance to restore their quality of life, or employers requiring early intervention or prevention assistance.
To be successful you will possess the following:
· Advanced Emotional Intelligence skills, or a desire to develop these skills
· A passion to deliver ethical and high quality services to our customers and clients
· An understanding of personal motivators and how to motivate a range of people
· A genuine interest in people and a passion to work with clients from all walks of life
· Caring and empathic nature
· The ability to build lasting relationships with your clients including adapting your approach according to your clients' needs.
· High level organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks
· Good IT and time management skills
· Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
· Strong stakeholder and customer relationship skills.
· Tertiary qualifications in one of the following - Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, Exercise Physiology, Nursing, Rehabilitation Counselling or Social Work
· Current unrestricted registration with the relevant industry body (AHPRA, ESSA, ASORC or AASW)
· Valid drivers license and a roadworthy vehicle to use in the role
· A National Police Clearance
· Full Australian working rights
· Preparedness to obtain a Working with Children Check, and an NDIS Clearance
