Child and Youth Mental Health Service Leadership Opportunity
This is an exciting leadership opportunity for a highly experienced and motivated Nurse Unit Manager or Team Leader to join our dedicated team at Bundaberg Hospital.
As a key member of our multidisciplinary team, you will be responsible for leading and managing the delivery of high-quality, person-centered care to young people in our community. You will work closely with our healthcare professionals to provide professional and operational leadership, ensuring the coordination of patient-centred clinical practice and the provision of human and material resources within the Child and Youth Mental Health Service.
* Key Responsibilities:
* The Nurse Unit Manager (NUM) or Team Leader provides advanced level clinical services and clinical service leadership to ensure clinical responsiveness to emergent mental health presentations via the Department of Emergency Services across an extended hours roster.
* Actively leads the identification, development and implementation of quality and service improvement activities that enhance the delivery of services to the local service area.
* Provides operational leadership to administration, allied health, and operational staff.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will have:
* Advanced clinical management skills and experience as a Nurse Unit Manager or Team Leader.
* Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Experience in quality improvement and service enhancement initiatives.
* A collaborative and patient-centred approach to care.
Benefits:
We offer a competitive salary between $5,081.10 - $5,516.60 p.f. (Nurse Grade 7), or salary between $5,557.50 - $5,798.90 p.f. (HP5), employer contribution to superannuation (up to 12.75%) and annual leave loading (17.5%).
