Hospitality Assistant – Cleaning & Catering
Type: Permanent Part-Time (AM and PM shifts).
About the Role
* Assist with laundry services, ensuring infection control and laundry practice standards.
* Maintain adequate hygiene and tidiness when cleaning residents' rooms, community and public areas, kitchen and laundry.
* Support catering tasks, such as preparing food and beverages and maintaining supplies.
Requirements and Qualifications
* Aged care experience preferred.
* Good communication skills.
* Positive attitude and willingness to learn.
* Professional presentation.
* Flexibility with shifts to cover teammates when they are sick or on leave.
* Current Food Handling Certificate required.
* Previous work in aged care or healthcare essential.

Other Requirements
* Police clearance must be valid for working in aged care (unsupervised contact with vulnerable people) and less than 12 months old.
* All employees must meet Eldercare's Employee Immunisation Policy, including seasonal influenza and COVID-19 vaccinations.
