About The Role
Looking at the strategy for the next few years, they have identified an opportunity to create a Manager or Senior Manager position due to growth in the Business Advisory division.
You will work closely with the Partners as part of the leadership team.
Your ideas are welcome on the running of the business, client management, workflow, staff management and hiring. In fact the more you can take from the Partners on this, the better, so they can continue accelerating the growth of this exciting firm.
You will be given a large client portfolio to manage as well as a team of great people with excellent training.
Equity Opportunity
There is a clear equity opportunity for this person in the near future.
Due to growth, there is quickly becoming too much work for the current Partners and this is creating an opportunity for someone to step up soon. Ideally it would be the person in this role.
If you do not want equity, they are open to this too.
The Reason For The Role Is To
Help the accountants continue with high productivity and quality work while providing them with ongoing support.
Manage your own portfolio of clients to the level you would want them to be serviced if it was your own firm, delegating work appropriately to the team.
Help the Partners grow the firm.
Take more and more responsibilities from the Partners to free them up to concentrate on more new business generation while developing your own skills and keeping it interesting for you.
Skills And Experience They Are Hoping You Have
You have managed a large client portfolio.
Engaging personality with articulate communication skills. Someone who can lead people and represent the firm well to clients.
Several years experience managing staff.
Qualified Accountant.
At least 8 years experience will probably be necessary to be at this level.
