Job Overview
As an Instrument Technician, you will be working closely with theatre staff to ensure the preparation and sterilization of surgical sets. This role is ideal for individuals with a Cert III/IV in Health – Sterilising or those who are willing to learn and develop their skills.
The key responsibilities of this position include maintaining cleaning tools and equipment, restocking supplies, and performing daily and weekly tests to ensure quality medical devices are provided for clinical use. The successful candidate should have good housekeeping skills, the ability to use initiative and demonstrate reliability, as well as an understanding of Infection Control principles and practice.
