Job Responsibilities and Qualifications
* The Auction Coordinator will be responsible for controlling items through our warehouse staging area and reviewing the Merchandising Coordinator's inspection reports. These responsibilities include but are not limited to: determining method of sale, assisting with and reviewing basic inspection on items, pricing items with our proprietary system and preparing items for public viewing with in depth quality.
* Responsible for performing Joint Inventory with government staff for government shipments.
* Performing inspections of inventory items with a proprietary inspection application.
* Determine best option of our available sales channels to maximize returns for the company.
* Determine ideal quantity for grouping items into lots and pricing with our proprietary system.
* Leads the evaluation and the accuracy of inspection reports from the Merchandising Coordinator by reviewing photographs of the equipment and overall condition assessments.
* Identifies and verifies the quality and category type for all incoming items.
* Ensure a safe working environment for all staff.
* Perform other duties as assigned.
* Experience providing excellent customer service to customers and colleagues.
* Strong computer skills, including the ability to learn new programs.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills (on this job your most valuable tools will be the 2-way radio, a cell phone and a computer).
* Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
