About the opportunity
This role is responsible for leading procurement, warehouse, logistics, and supply chain operations, while managing a team of 16 direct reports. Reporting to the Head of Operations, it is accountable for strategic purchasing, contract negotiations, supply chain governance, compliance, and warehouse efficiency.
In this role, you will:
- Drive supply chain governance and compliance frameworks.
- Optimise procurement and purchasing performance.
- Strengthen warehouse and logistics efficiency.
- Enhance master data management processes.
- Build high-performing teams and robust stakeholder partnerships.
The successful candidate will oversee the end-to-end procurement lifecycle, benchmark supplier performance, negotiate freight and logistics strategies, and lead continuous improvement initiatives. About you
We are seeking an experienced procurement leader with demonstrated success in procurement nationally and internationally. A background in managing teams, driving compliance, and delivering outcomes in complex supply chains is essential.
To be successful in this role, you will ideally have:
- Degree in business administration, supply chain management or related field.
- Proven experience in procurement leadership roles.
- Strong knowledge of ERP systems.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and S&OP.;
- Demonstrated experience in purchasing overseas (ideally China).
- Ability to lead and develop teams and build strong supplier relationships.
- Advanced problem-solving skills with sustainable change outcomes.
- Current driver\'s licence.
- Willingness to undertake a medical assessment and provide police clearance.
