- Based in Melbourne South East suburbs
- Immediate start, Hybrid hours, 2 days a week from home

**The Role**

**Duties**
- Be responsible for staff changes, through recruitment and onboarding support and employment process.
- Manage key HR programs of work in areas such as workforce planning, performance, remuneration and benefits, and diversity and inclusion to enable achievement of strategic goals.
- Guide and coach leaders on HR and employee relations issues in line with the school policies and best practice, including disciplinary, grievance, performance and absence management.
- Ensure continuous improvement of HR systems, policies and procedures to meet legislative requirements and enhance employee experience.
- Contribute to the implementation and delivery of the HR strategy in order to enhance outcomes for employees, parents and students.
- Work with key stakeholders to identify areas of improvement to support improve employee engagement and performance.
- Understand the Teachers Award and General Staff Education Award in order to make advise and support employee relation matters.
- Work collaboratively with the payroll team.

**Key Skills and Qualifications**:

- High attention to detail
- Ability to learn software systems and identify opportunities for improvement whilst ensuring current data processing and integrity is maintained.
- The ability to coach and advise senior leaders and be able to build credibility and influence at this level.
- Strong knowledge of people & culture specializations, such as talent acquisition, talent development, talent management and employee relations.
