This role is responsible for leading the day-to-day finance and operations activities for Arbonne Australia & New Zealand, ensuring strong financial governance, operational excellence, and effective cross-functional support. The role partners closely with the General Manager/VP and regional/corporate teams to deliver accurate financial reporting, disciplined budgeting and forecasting, and smooth operational execution, while operating with a hands-on, manager-level mindset.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Management and Reporting:
* Own monthly close activities and ensure timely, accurate financial reporting in line with GAAP and corporate requirements.
* Prepare and deliver monthly financial reporting decks, variance analysis, KPI dashboards, and ad hoc analysis for leadership.
* Lead budgeting and forecasting processes, partnering with functional leaders to manage costs and deliver against plan.
* Maintain general ledger integrity, including reconciliations, accruals, and balance sheet management.
* Support annual audit processes and liaise with external auditors and corporate finance teams.
* Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements, including GST, tax filings, and local reporting obligations.
Operations Leadership & Management
* Own end-to-day operational leadership for the ANZ market, ensuring effective execution across supply chain, logistics, customer service, marketing, events, and field support.
* Manage relationships and performance of third-party warehouses, ensuring service levels, accuracy, and cost efficiency.
* Oversee domestic and international freight operations, including inbound and outbound logistics, freight partners, and cost control.
* Own inventory planning, including inventory forecasting, warehouse replenishment, and inventory health, partnering closely with supply chain and corporate teams.
* Ensure operational readiness across systems, processes, inventory, and people to support launches, incentives, promotions, and peak trading periods.
* Act as the primary operational integrator, aligning priorities, timelines, and resources across functions.
* Monitor operational performance, service levels, and execution risks; proactively identify and resolve issues.
* Serve as an escalation point for operational decisions requiring trade-offs, prioritisation, or rapid resolution.
Operational & Business Support
* Partner with Operations, Marketing, Events, and Field teams to provide financial oversight for key initiatives, events, and promotions.
* Track and manage project budgets, including incentives, events, and major campaigns.
* Support inventory, supply chain, and demand planning through financial analysis and reporting.
* Maintain oversight of contracts, leases, and financial commitments, ensuring appropriate approvals and controls.
* Support payroll accounting and ensure accurate interfacing to the general ledger.
Analytics & Decision Support
* Deliver regular analytics and performance reporting (e.g., sales trends, KPIs, inventory metrics) using tools such as Tableau and Excel.
* Provide insights and recommendations to support commercial decision-making.
* Build and continuously improve reporting tools and processes to increase efficiency and clarity.
Process Improvement & Governance
* Drive continuous improvement of finance and operational processes with a focus on scalability, accuracy, and efficiency.
* Ensure adherence to internal controls, policies, and procedures.
* Act as a key liaison with corporate finance, tax, legal, IT, and shared services teams.
People & Collaboration
* Lead, coach, and support direct reports (size dependent on final structure), fostering accountability and development.
* Operate as a collaborative business partner across a small, high-performing ANZ leadership team.

What you need:
* Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business (CPA/CA preferred but not required).
* 7–10+ years of progressive experience in finance, accounting, or operations roles.
* Experience in a mid-sized, fast-paced organization; direct selling or consumer goods experience desirable.
* Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and management reporting.
* Advanced Excel skills; experience with Oracle and reporting/BI tools (e.g., Tableau) highly desirable.
Experience Working With US-based Or Global Corporate Teams Preferred
