About the Opportunity
Sanctum Healthcare is seeking a visionary and high‐calibre Chief Executive Officer (CEO) to provide strategic leadership and operational excellence across our growing healthcare network.
This position is a key leadership role in our organisation. You will report directly to the Associates (Owners) and hold a pivotal role in managing vital external relationships, ensuring complex legal compliance, and upholding the Group's Core Values. This is a rare opportunity for a sophisticated leader to drive organisational transformation and innovation within a values‐based health group.
Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will lead a multidisciplinary team and manage the Practice Manager and Medical Practitioners (non‐clinical management). Your core focus will include:
Strategic & Financial Leadership: Develop and execute business plans, oversee budgets, resource allocation, and annual financial audits. You will also identify capital developments and property projects while pursuing grant opportunities (e.g., RDN, Coordinare).
People, Culture & HR: Lead a high‐performance culture, overseeing the full HR lifecycle. You will serve as the primary liaison for medical staff and contractors, ensuring professional and contractual needs are met.
Compliance, Risk & Quality: Maintain robust governance and risk management frameworks. You will ensure strict adherence to healthcare legislation, IR/Fair Work regulations, and accreditation standards.
Infrastructure & Innovation: Drive the adoption of innovative IT solutions to enhance clinical governance and operational performance. You will also oversee physical infrastructure and represent the practice in high‐level external forums.
What You Bring
We are looking for an autonomous leader with a proven track record in high‐stakes leadership and change management.
Qualifications: A relevant tertiary degree (e.g., Law, Commerce, Business, or Health Administration) or a Diploma in Practice Management.
Expertise: Proven success in organisational transformation and managing complex stakeholder relationships (PHNs, RACGP, Universities).
Technical Savvy: High IT literacy with the ability to leverage technology to drive performance and optimise workflows.
Communication: Exceptional public speaking skills and the ability to influence at all levels of the healthcare sector.
