Key Responsibilities
Clinical Midwife Managers hold a pivotal position in shaping maternity services for regional communities.
* Lead and manage multidisciplinary teams within Maternity and Assessment Units, Birth Suites, Special Care Nurseries, and Antenatal Clinics.
* Develop operational strategies to optimise human, financial, and physical resources.
* Provide advanced patient care, management, expert consultancy, and support both within and beyond the hospital setting.
The ideal candidate will have demonstrated experience in managing Maternal and Newborn Services, including clinical and financial resource management. They will possess highly developed verbal, written, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, enabling effective engagement with diverse stakeholders.
