About the Role
As the Manager Regional Delivery, you'll be the key regional contact for the NSW Reconstruction Authority (RA), ensuring local voices, knowledge, and priorities are embedded in disaster risk strategies and recovery efforts.
Key responsibilities include:
* Build and manage strong relationships with local and regional stakeholders, including local government, to connect the RA with community insights and decision-makers.
* Deliver and support RA programs at the local level, including disaster grants, financial support, and community recovery services.
* Maintain up-to-date knowledge of RA policies and initiatives relevant to regional disaster risks and connect communities with decision-makers across government.
* Advocate for regional needs and priorities in the development of disaster risk strategies and programs.
* Coordinate data and insights to support reporting and evaluation of disaster risk initiatives.
* Lead post-disaster collaboration with combat agencies and local government to support rapid impact assessments and risk evaluations.
* Monitor and support communities through recovery and mitigation projects, ensuring RA resources align with local needs.
* Lead and coach staff to foster a high-performance culture and continuous improvement.

About You
You are a strategic and community-focused leader with a deep understanding of disaster management and a passion for regional resilience.
You will bring:
* Extensive experience in disaster and emergency management, with a strong grasp of regional dynamics.
* Proven ability to lead operations in high-pressure, politically sensitive environments.
* Exceptional stakeholder engagement and relationship-building skills.
* Strong advocacy and communication capabilities to represent regional perspectives.
* Experience in leading teams and driving performance in complex service delivery environments.
* A collaborative mindset and ability to work across agencies and sectors.
Essential requirements:
* An ability and willingness to travel within NSW and support other operational roles during disasters, emergencies and other events, consistent with skills, background and personal circumstances.
* Current unrestricted NSW drivers' licence.
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent experience in a relevant field.

The NSW Reconstruction Authority (RA) is an executive agency of the Premier's Department. The RA will improve how NSW plans for disasters and help communities to recover from them faster.
To reduce the severity and impacts of disasters, the RA will complete critical planning and preparation with communities, NGOs, businesses, and government.
