NuLook Painting is looking for a skilled Tradesman Painter for residential and commercial painting projects.
Location: NuLook Painting is based in Katherine, NT with projects all over the Northern Territory and Northern Western Australia

About the Job: Join our remote painting crew and take on exciting projects like repainting cattle stations, roadhouses, pubs, and more. We handle all types of painting projects including repaints, new builds, building maintenance & plaster repairs, renovations, commercial projects, roof restorations and everything in between. You'll get to explore some of the most beautiful and remote parts of the Northern Territory and the top of Western Australia while working in a motivated tight-knit team.

Key Responsibilities:
· Carry out high-quality preparation, painting, and finishing across residential, commercial, and remote projects
· Work efficiently from job scopes, plans, and drawings
· Maintain a consistently high standard of workmanship without supervision
· Follow all site safety requirements (JSA/SWMS) and keep work areas clean and organised
· Use materials correctly and minimise waste
· Identify and solve minor onsite issues before they become problems
· Communicate professionally with clients, builders, and other trades when required
· Work well as part of a team and support apprentices or less experienced painters when needed
· Meet job deadlines without cutting corners
· Take pride in your work and ensure quality before moving off a task or site
· Help maintain a positive, motivated work environment by setting a good pace, backing the team, and leading by example on site
Who We're Looking For:
* Qualifications: Trade-qualified painter with 2+ years post trade experience, White card, drivers licence.
EWP licence and LR truck license would be of advantage but not essential (must be willing to obtain)
* Police Check: willing and able to obtain a national police check certificate
* Experience: Previous experience as a leading hand or team supervisor will be highly regarded but not essential, We are looking for someone that is positive and excels at their trade. We want the best of the best
