Are you an experienced and passionate Registered Nurse ready to step into a key leadership role within our Post Anaesthetic Care Unit (PACU) and Day Surgery Unit (DSU)?
As a Clinical Nurse Coordinator, you will be an advanced clinical leader and trusted resource within the department, demonstrating expert knowledge across all facets of perioperative patient care. You will combine strong clinical capability with sound judgement, critical thinking and confident decision‐making in a fast‐paced environment.
About The Role
In this pivotal role, you will:
* Provide advanced clinical leadership and coordination within PACU and DSU
* Act as a professional resource and role model for nursing staff
* Support safe, high‐quality care for patients throughout the perioperative journey
* Apply strong critical thinking and problem‐solving skills in complex clinical situations
* Contribute to staff education through orientation, in‐services and competency programmes
* Drive and support continuous improvement initiatives across the department
You will play a key role in fostering a positive team culture while ensuring excellence in patient safety, recovery outcomes and service delivery.
About You Essential
* Relevant registration with the Nursing & Midwifery Board of Australia
* Relevant post graduate qualification plus 12 months experience working in the clinical specialty/area OR
* A minimum of 4 years post registration experience, including 3 years' experience in the relevant specialty/area
* Effective communication and interpersonal skills
* Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently as required
* Understanding of scope of practice
* Ability to manage designated portfolio and display sound leadership skills
* Sound written and verbal communication skills
* Demonstrated knowledge/experience in accreditation processes, clinical indicators and other quality projects
Desirables
* Completed Preceptorship Program
* Computer literacy in Microsoft Office programmes
* Excellent time management skills

Remuneration
On offer is base annual salary ranging from $102,387.90 - $108,784.58 + superannuation based on experience level and qualifications, exclusive of penalties or allowances. (WA Clinical Nurse/Midwife Level 2 gr1-gr4)
