Childcare Educator - Flexible working hours

Are you passionate about early childhood education and fostering a nurturing environment for children to thrive? Hadfield ELC is seeking a dedicated and experienced educator to join our dynamic team. At Hadfield ELC we take a tailored and holistic approach to learning that focuses on the developmental needs and interests of each child.

We are guided by the Early Years Learning framework of Australia and our unique educational curriculum works on the theory of emergent and inquiry project-based learning. Our curriculum gives every child the opportunity to engage in meaningful and purposeful learning experiences that will help each child grow and evolve to their full potential.

Responsibilities:

* Support care and educate a group of children and work within a strong and passionate team, providing guidance and support in daily activities and curriculum implementation.
* Foster a warm and supportive environment where children can explore, learn, and develop social and emotional skills.
* Develop and implement age-appropriate learning activities that stimulate curiosity and creativity.
* Ensure compliance with EYLF, NQS, and all regulatory standards
* Ensure the safety and well-being of all children in your care, adhering to all health and safety guidelines.
* Maintain accurate records of each child's progress, milestones, and daily activities, utilizing our documentation protocols effectively.
* Collaborate with parents and caregivers to ensure continuity between home and the centre, providing regular updates and feedback.

Requirements:

* Minimum 2 years' experience in an educator role within an early childhood education setting.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to support and inspire a team.
* A deep understanding of child development principles and best practices.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Proficiency in documenting children's learning experiences and developmental accomplishments.
* A passion for creating engaging and educational activities that promote learning through play.
* Minimum Certificate III in Early Childhood Education and Care qualification required.
* Australian citizenship or permanent residency required.
* A valid Working with Children Check must be obtained before commencing employment.
