Indoz Homez Pty Ltd was founded in 2019 with the goal of delivering high-quality custom homes, investment properties, granny flats, and renovations. As a growing residential construction company, we focus on practical delivery, clear communication, and efficient coordination on site. Due to continued growth, we are seeking a Civil Engineer to support our site operations and consultant coordination across residential projects.
Position Overview
As a Civil Engineer, you will work closely with our site supervisor, trades, and internal team to assist in the smooth delivery of residential construction projects. This role is suited to a graduate or early-career engineer who is comfortable working in a small team environment, taking ownership of tasks, and supporting day-to-day site and coordination activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate with site supervisors to support day-to-day construction activities
* Liaise directly with trades, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure work is carried out as planned
* Coordinate with external consultants, including structural engineers, surveyors, and certifiers
* Review and interpret engineering and construction drawings
* Assist with setting out, levels, and basic site checks as required
* Support scheduling and sequencing of works in coordination with site supervisor
* Assist with quantities, material take-offs, and ordering support
* Respond to site queries and provide technical support to trades
* Maintain basic project documentation and records within internal systems
Experience & Skills
* Degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline
* Graduate or early-career engineers encouraged to apply
* Residential construction experience preferred but not essential
* Ability to read and understand construction and engineering drawings
* Some practical use of construction drawings is required for effective performance in this role
* Strong communication skills and confidence coordinating with trades and consultants
* Practical, hands‑on approach and willingness to spend time on site
* Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks
* Comfortable working in a small team with minimal hierarchy
* Good computer literacy, including Microsoft Office
* Valid driver's licence and ability to travel between sites
