Exodas is a well-established and growing transport and logistics company operating along the East coast of Australia, from Nth Queensland through to Melbourne.
Head Office is located in Yatala (QLD) with depots/yards also located in Melbourne, Sydney, Warnervale, Mackay, Bowen, Townsville, Tully, Innisfail and Mareeba.
As a Transport Allocator you will be responsible for:
Planning and scheduling drivers for the timely pick up and delivery of freight. Meeting timeframes and time‐slots is a critical aspect of this role.
Rostering and managing drivers to ensure maximum utilisation of company equipment.
Clear communication of instructions and expectations to drivers and other staff using WhatsApp to provide instructions to drivers.
Clear and timely communication with external and internal parties.
Monitoring COR and Fatigue Management.
Accurate and timely record keeping of the daily movements of drivers and equipment.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail.
Intermediate (Office, Excel) computer skills are essential.
Ability to multi‐task and prioritise in a sometimes high paced and high pressure environment.
Ability to work well in a team environment.
Experience and understanding of produce and refrigerated freight would be an advantage.
Experience in an allocations role within a transport company would be viewed favourably, however transport operations administration experience would also be strongly considered.
Full training will be provided; you must be a go getter and learn on the fly!
