About the role and team
We have a new opportunity for an experienced workers' compensation lawyer to join our growing Insurance practice based in our Perth office.
Our Insurance WA team has approximately 90 people located across Adelaide, Perth, and Darwin. The team is a defendant insurance legal team, working across General Insurance and Statutory Insurance matters, including workers' compensation, recoveries, compulsory third party, liability, professional indemnity, and general insurance. This is a hands-on Insurance role with significant learning, development, and progression opportunities, and the chance to work with interesting clients, including some of Australia's top insurers.
Skills and experience
* 5+ years of post-admission experience within Workers' Compensation
* Ideally experience on the defendant side, but we will also consider candidates with a plaintiff background eager to move into a defendant practice
* A genuine interest in building a career in workers' compensation law and contributing to our practice's success
* Clear, concise legal writing skills
