General Practitioner in Sexual Assault Services
The Hunter New England Local Health District is seeking applications from qualified General Practitioners to participate in the after-hours and weekend roster for a medical service to adults and adolescents who have been sexually assaulted.
* Eligibility: registration with the Medical Board of Australia as a Specialist General Practitioner or overseas trained specialist pathways.
* Availability: minimum 3 shifts per month in an on-call roster and respond on site within a reasonable time.
* Clinical expertise: best practice, evidence-based clinical services to achieve quality patient outcomes and provide trauma-informed care.
* Supervision and education: undertake supervision and education within the clinical environment of junior medical staff and other relevant staff to foster safe clinical practice.
