About Our Client

With complex production and supply chains, they place a strong emphasis on precision logistics, stakeholder collaboration, and operational excellence across local and international networks.
Job Description
- Coordinate international and domestic shipments to meet project and production schedules
- Manage relationships and performance of third-party logistics (3PL) providers
- Ensure on-time delivery (DIFOT) of raw materials and finished goods
- Maintain full administrative visibility and compliance for all logistics movements
- Apply Free Trade Agreements and relevant import/export duty exemptions
- Ensure trade compliance for all shipments
- Monitor and control logistics costs across the portfolio
- Support inventory control and warehouse capacity planning across multiple sites
- Manage reverse logistics for non-conforming materials
- Navigate Australian port and quarantine requirements for incoming shipments
- Ensure all logistics practices align with insurance and risk mitigation standards
- Maintain logistics master data in SAP ERP
- Develop and update logistics Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
- Build strong working relationships with internal teams and external partners
- Track and report logistics KPIs, highlighting operational and financial impacts
The Successful Applicant
- 3-5 years of experience in international logistics or freight forwarding
- Strong understanding of incoterms, customs, and trade compliance
- Experience coordinating high-volume shipments across multiple transport modes
- Proven ability to manage 3PL relationships and monitor performance
- Familiar with warehouse and inventory operations, including reverse logistics
- Skilled in SAP ERP (especially logistics or supply chain modules)
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
- Excellent organisational and file management skills
- Clear, professional communication style (verbal and written)
- Comfortable working under pressure and managing multiple priorities
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to compliance
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and in a team
- Positive attitude, reliable, and open to continuous learning
- Previous exposure to project-based or production logistics environments is a plus
- Understanding of risk mitigation and insurance compliance in logistics is desirable
