Senior Educator Job Details

Early Childhood Senior Educators are responsible for creating a safe and nurturing environment that fosters children's growth and development.

* Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children, families, and team members.
* Have passion and enthusiasm to lead a classroom effectively engaging with educators, families, and children to implement the educational program.
* Utilise and implement the Goodstart Practice Guide to deliver high-quality education programs and practice in collaboration with the Education Leader.
* Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures, and Requirements.
* Positively contribute to delivering the Centre and business plans.


About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Senior Educator to join our team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing educational programs that cater to the diverse needs of children.

You will work closely with the Education Leader to ensure the highest quality care and education are provided to children. Your passion for early childhood education and commitment to making a positive impact on children's lives make you an ideal candidate for this role.


Key Responsibilities

* Develop and implement educational programs that align with the Early Years Learning Framework and NQS.
* Maintain accurate records of children's progress and development.
* Collaborate with colleagues to achieve centre goals and objectives.
* Provide support and guidance to junior staff members.


Requirements

* Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent qualification.
* Current Working with Children Check and First Aid qualification.
* Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and NQS.
* Passion and enthusiasm for leading a classroom effectively.
* Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with children and families.
