u&u Recruitment Partners is excited to partner with a well-established, privately owned company that specialises in the manufacturer, sales, installation and service of commercial and industrial access solutions such as industrial gates, industrial roller doors, high traffic area doors, strip and air curtains and wall protection systems. The company is proudly Australian owned, manufactures locally and services a wide range of industries such as a hospital and healthcare, food processing, food and beverage manufacturing, retail shopping centres, warehouses and distribution facilities to name a few. Due to growth, there is currently an exciting opportunity to join the company in the newly created role of Sales Manager.
The role
Reporting to the General Manager, this is a hands-on sales leadership role that will form part of the senior management team and will play a key role in driving the next stage of the company's growth.
More specifically, you will be involved in the following:
* Providing leadership, coaching and guidance to a team of Business Development Managers and Internal Sales staff;
* Playing an active role in business development to drive growth within new sectors;
* Implementing and overseeing a structured sales process, KPIs and reporting and forecasting systems;
* Working as part a close-knit senior management team to implement and refine operational processes;
* Creating a close-knit, high-performance and accountable team culture within your direct team; and
* Building strong industry relationships and referral partners to assist with growth.
Required Skills / Experience
* Prior sales leadership experience with demonstrated experience achieving sales growth and building sales teams;
* Well-developed people management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire;
* A consultative, solutions focused and genuine style with prior experience selling customised solutions;
* Highly motivated and results orientated with a history of achieving results;
* Prior experience in the building products or a related industry would be an advantage, but isn't essential;
* Sound computer skills; and
* Willing to travel regularly within Southeast QLD and hold current driver\'s licence.
