Our Exposure Identification team within the Vulnerability Management service of the Cybersecurity division is responsible for surfacing the most critical vulnerabilities across Macquarie's IT ecosystem.
We provide a prioritised and contextualised view that enables teams to focus remediation efforts where needed.
What role will you play?
As a Senior Data Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain a greenfield data pipeline using a modern tech stack.
You will drive the future of our vulnerability management platform, ensuring the delivery of robust, scalable data solutions.
You will build a collaborative environment to enhance our capabilities in identifying, analysing, and mitigating vulnerabilities across our multi-cloud environment.
What You Offer
5+ years of experience with Python, data warehouse/mart development, BI report development, and ETL tools, alongside 7+ years in data modelling and manipulation
Prior people management experience within engineering contexts
Proven expertise with database migration (Liquibase and Alembic) and data transformation (DBT)
Extensive experience with RDBMS, including strong knowledge of AWS Redshift, Postgres, and Microsoft SQL Server, with ability to optimise SQL queries and manage stored procedures
Proficient in applications containerisation using Docker
Extensive experience with AWS services, implementing CI/CD pipelines, versioning, and secret management within Linux/Unix environments
Ability to support business requirements through insightful report analysis and BI report development
