Associate Advisor (Pathway to Financial Advisor)

Role Overview

As an Associate Advisor, you will be an integral part of our financial advisory team, working closely with experienced advisors to deliver exceptional service to our clients. You'll gain hands-on experience, refine your advisory skills, and take on increasing responsibility as you work toward achieving your goal of becoming a Financial Advisor. This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career in financial services with a direct pathway to a more senior advisory role.

Key Responsibilities

* Assist financial advisors in the development and execution of financial plans and strategies.
* Work closely with clients to understand their financial goals and assist in providing solutions.
* Support in preparing client portfolios, investment recommendations, and insurance strategies.
* Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and ongoing engagement.
* Help manage and monitor client accounts, providing timely updates and reporting.
* Actively contribute to business development efforts, including identifying new clients and building a network.
* Participate in client meetings, providing valuable insights and support to financial advisors.
* Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product offerings, and regulatory changes (RG146+ qualifications required).

Qualifications & Skills

* RG146 or higher financial qualification (or equivalent).
* Strong desire to progress into a Financial Advisor role.
* Previous experience in financial services or related fields is highly desirable.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
* Proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented with a passion for helping others.
* Ability to work collaboratively with a team while also taking initiative in client interactions.
* Strong organizational and time-management skills.
