- ABOUT THE ROLE
- With growth, an opportunity has become available to join their team in an Export Seafreight Operations position. Handling export operations end to end, handling all aspects of the process. Based in Tullamarine, the role suits an operator with 2-3 years of experience looking to move into a team that thrives on volumes.
- DUTIES- Ensure all orders are handled from the order through to arrival at the destination port
- Work with internal and external suppliers to build strong relationships
- Full Customer Service provision for all orders
- Ensure full costing and invoicing are accurate for each file
- Client visits with the commercial team to build strong relationships
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE- 2-3 years experience in Export Seafreight (air also an advantage) operations
- Previous exposure in a hands-on export role in freight forwarding
- Exposure to working closely with key clients
- Demonstrated ability to maintain customer relationships
- Desire to assist and cross-train in imports and cartage operations
