Location: South Brisbane, Queensland, Australia
My client is looking for a talented Graphic Designer to join their team on a 4-5 month full‑time contract while a team member takes long service leave. This role is perfect for a mid‑level designer with strong technical ability and experience across print, digital, and video/animation.
About the Role
You'll support the design team in delivering high‑quality creative for exhibitions and event marketing. The work is varied, fast‑paced, and hands‑on, covering design for:
* Print (digital, offset, and large‑format)
* Digital and social media assets
* Video and animation (short‑form content, event screens, simple motion design)
You'll be working on Apple devices and collaborating closely with a small, highly skilled creative team using Adobe Creative Cloud.
Key Responsibilities
* Produce high‑quality print, digital, and motion assets for exhibitions and events
* Create design concepts and finished artwork across multiple formats
* Prepare files for digital, offset, and large‑format production
* Edit and produce short video content and animations
* Maintain brand consistency across all deliverables
* Collaborate with internal stakeholders to deliver projects on time
Skills & Experience (Essential)
* Proven experience as a mid‑level graphic designer
* Strong skills in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere, and Acrobat
* Experience preparing artwork for a range of print production methods
* Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline‑driven environment
* Excellent attention to detail and layout skills
