Our in-house division, Ophthalmopro Biomedical Services (OBS), provides expert repair and maintenance services for a wide range of medical equipment supporting both our core ophthalmic technologies and broader medical devices.
The Opportunity
We’re seeking a Service Technician to join our growing team.
This hands on role offers variety, autonomy, and the chance to make a real impact in healthcare delivery.
Key Responsibilities
• Service, repair, and maintenance of medical equipment
• Perform installations, calibrations, and compliance testing to local standards
• Provide technical support and build strong client relationships
• Maintain accurate service records and contribute to quality improvement
Experience and Requirements
• Electronic, Mechanical or Engineering qualification.
• Ability to provide police clearance and working with children check
• Experience in the repair and maintenance of electro mechanical equipment (advantageous)
• Valid Australian driver’s license
• Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
• Must be an Australian citizen or hold a current/valid working visa
