An excellent opportunity is available for an experienced Dealership Accountant to join a successful, high-volume new car dealership based in Parramatta.
This is a pivotal role within the business, working closely with the Dealer Principal while reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller. You'll play a hands‐on role in the financial performance, compliance, and reporting of the dealership, with strong support from a wider automotive group.
Key responsibilities include:
* End-of-month financial reporting and analysis
* Preparation of management accounts and manufacturer reports
* Overseeing accounts payable, receivable, and payroll processes
* Stock, warranty, and commission reconciliations
* Budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
* Ensuring compliance with group and manufacturer requirements
* Acting as a trusted financial advisor to dealership leadership
About you:
* Proven experience as a Dealership Accountant within automotive retail
* Strong knowledge of dealership accounting systems and processes
* Confident communicator able to support senior management
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Able to thrive in a fast‐paced, volume dealership environment
