About the role
While your skills/qualifications and experience tell us part of your story, your values, attitude and cultural alignment with Southern Cross are essential.
We are currently seeking Aged Care Support Workers who live in and around Magnetic Island to support aged participants to live independently within their own home.
This would be by helping them achieve daily activities such as:
Domestic assistance – general housework including dusting, ironing, mopping, laundry, cleaning bathrooms and kitchens
Personal care assistance – showering, toileting, grooming and dressing
Reporting and documentation
You will be supported by qualified healthcare professionals and will receive the necessary training and skills to do the best job you can.
What you need
Current references
Current driver's licence and your own car (mandatory)
NDIS workers screening check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
First Aid certificate or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
Working with children's check or willingness to obtain (mandatory)
Passionate about caring and committed to client well-being
Days/Hours
Shift times available are:
There are a variety of shifts available Monday – Friday.
