Job Title: Outdoor Space Maintenance Professional
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the school's outdoor spaces, including grounds, gardens, fields and other facilities across approximately 12 acres.
This role involves operating a range of equipment, including large zero-turn mowers and performing general building and facility maintenance tasks.
In addition to these duties, the incumbent will undertake routine inspections of grounds, fences, irrigation systems and outdoor facilities to identify potential hazards or damage.
Seasonal tasks such as pruning, mulching, weed control and pest management will also be undertaken by the successful candidate.
The role requires effective waste management, including green waste and recycling, and the ability to identify and report site hazards or damage.
Additionally, the successful candidate will be required to assist with event setup and pack down when needed and maintain basic records for maintenance schedules and equipment servicing.
Supporting morning and afternoon school bus runs using a 12-seater HiAce, or transporting students when required, is also an essential aspect of this role.
