The Role
As a Retail Supervisor at our Wollongong store, you will support the store leadership team in overseeing daily operations and supervising our store teams. You will lead by example, providing an exceptional customer experience through your product knowledge, customer service skills, and solution-oriented approach. You will also collaborate with the Store and Assistant Store Manager to meet business objectives and success indicators.
What You'll Be Doing
* Providing a superior customer experience to reinforce City Beach's customer-centric approach.
* Ensuring the store is open and ready for customers.
* Managing stock movement to reduce shrinkage and increase sales.
* Maintaining shopfloor and stockroom organization, and preparing the store for promotions and sales.
* Working with the leadership team to achieve performance goals related to sales, people, compliance, visual merchandising, and wages.
* Upholding high standards of store presentation.
* Demonstrating strong product knowledge and explaining features and benefits.
* Assisting customers in locating products based on their needs.
* Running shifts, including opening and closing the store, handling cash, and ensuring security.
* Providing leadership during shifts, supporting team members, and reporting to the leadership team.
* Supporting the execution of business and departmental tasks as assigned.

* At least 1 year of experience in a customer service role.
* Experience in store operational supervision is highly desirable.
* Strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task effectively.
* Energetic, enthusiastic, personable, and proactive in store operations.
