Overview
ARG Workforce is seeking Trade Qualified Carpenters for an 8-week project at our client’s facility in Paget. The role is to build a switchroom for one of their mining clients.
Responsibilities
- Build a switchroom for a mining client.
Compensation and Hours
Pay rate is $56.50 per hour plus full penalties and shift allowances for nights. There are 12 hours available on both day and night shifts.

Location and outlook
This project is not FIFO or offering accommodation. Successful applicants will be local to Mackay or able to source their own accommodation in Mackay. This is the first of many builds; expected to be 6 per year, offering ongoing work.
