About the Role
We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual who can provide academic and personal support to students, as well as implement engaging learning programs that cater to their diverse needs.
Key Responsibilities
* Assess Student Progress: You will be responsible for assessing individual student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness, and developing strategies to support their growth.
* Implement Learning Programs: You will design and implement effective learning programs that meet the unique needs of each student, promoting engagement, motivation, and academic achievement.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following qualifications and skills:
* Tasmanian Registration: You must hold current Tasmanian registration to work with vulnerable people.
* Teaching Qualifications: You must be a registered teacher with full registration within the meaning of the Teachers Registration Act 2000.
* Certificate of Registration: You must hold a current certificate of registration or provisional registration or limited authority to teach granted by the Teachers Registration Board (Tasmania).
* Teaching Service Award: You must be under the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award.
* Professional Development: You will have opportunities for professional development based on training, qualifications, and satisfactory performance.
Desirable Requirements
We prefer candidates with:
* Extended Training: Four years or more training as defined in the Teaching Service (Tasmanian Public Sector) Award 2005.
