The Cook will be responsible for curating a new menu and building up our already existing small team. Our aim is to offer one of the best culinary experiences in the Regional Area of WOY WOY.
The position of Cook is responsible for the daily, hands-on operations of the kitchen to ensure food items are prepared according to standards of quality.
Responsibilities 
- Train, develop and maintain employee skills
- Menu planning/costing, inventory, plate presentation, ordering and employee scheduling
- Organization, cost & product control
- Ensure the kitchen meets all health department standards for safe food handling
- Strong leadership; lead by example; ability to work independently
- Plan and direct food preparation and culinary activities
- Modify menus or create new ones; estimate food requirements and food/labor costs
- Supervise kitchen staff's activities; recruit and manage kitchen staff
- Address problems or complaints; perform administrative duties
- Keep time and payroll records
- Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers
Qualifications 
- Previous relevant experience
- A degree/diploma from a culinary arts program or equivalent life experience, preferably in a high-end dining establishment
- Scheduling flexibility to include working nights, weekends, and/or holidays

Salary: $76,515 to $76,700 annually
