Your impact
Jacobs is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our Cities & Places business as part of our Sydney Building Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to major projects across sectors including health, transport, commercial, education and advanced facilities while growing your technical and client‐facing capabilities. In this role, you'll work closely with a diverse group of engineers and designers, supporting the delivery of high‐quality electrical design solutions for our clients. You'll be trusted to represent Jacobs professionally, contribute positively to our collaborative team culture, and help strengthen our presence in the Sydney market.
Responsibilities
* Contribute to the design and delivery of electrical building services across a variety of complex and rewarding projects.
* Work directly with clients and stakeholders, building trusted relationships through clear communication and technical excellence.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop integrated, sustainable, and innovative solutions.
* Support project coordination, documentation, and design outputs to ensure quality and delivery consistency.
* Contribute to a positive team culture by demonstrating Jacobs' values and supporting junior team members where required.
Qualifications
* Is comfortable in client‐facing roles and building relationships with project partners and stakeholders.
* Brings experience working across building services projects health, commercial, education or similar sectors.
* Enjoys collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and contributing to project delivery.
* Demonstrates strong communication skills, a proactive mindset, and a desire to grow within a supportive team.
* Takes pride in contributing positively to team culture and representing Jacobs professionally.
