Using your red teaming, penetration testing, and application security expertise, you will help our customers protect their systems and prepare for emerging threats.About The RoleAs a Team Lead within Datacom's Cybersecurity division, you will be responsible for leading and guiding a team of skilled offensive security professionals. You will play an instrumental role in developing innovative service offerings, helping organisations secure their critical applications and systems, and executing advanced breach and attack simulations to identify vulnerabilities before malicious adversaries can exploit them.Your focus will encompass leadership, operational efficiency, planning, and delivery of offensive security services, including application security testing, red team engagements, penetration testing projects, and scenario-based attack simulations.This role is perfect for an individual deeply rooted in offensive security with a passion for uncovering weaknesses, devising solutions, and advocating for secure development practices. You will have the opportunity to shape strategy, build technical capabilities, and lead your team in confronting real-world security challenges while driving customer success.What You'll DoTake initiative in mentoring, coaching, and developing a team of offensive security professionals, building their expertise in red teaming, penetration testing, and breach simulation practicesActively engage with customers, demonstrating a hands-on approach to offensive security engagements, and providing expert advice on bolstering application and system defensesLead the delivery of Datacom's offensive security offerings, including advanced red teaming exercises, vulnerability assessments, penetration tests, and threat simulation servicesCollaborate across teams to promote innovation, improve service delivery, and align offensive security practices with evolving customer needs and market demandsFoster relationships with technology vendors to expand and strengthen offensive security capabilities and toolsManage team resources, workload allocation, priority setting, and pipeline planning to maintain operational efficiency and ensure client satisfactionWhat You'll BringA strong technical background in offensive security disciplines, including practical experience in red teaming, penetration testing, and application securityKnowledge of cybersecurity frameworks and tools such as OWASP, MITRE ATT&CK, or similar methodologiesHands-on expertise in breach and attack simulations, vulnerability discovery, and secure coding practicesAt least 7+ years of cybersecurity experience, with a minimum of 5+ years dedicated to offensive security or application security engagementsRelevant certifications such as OSCP, CRTO, CREST certifications, or similar qualifications to showcase your technical acumenStrong leadership skills and the ability to inspire, develop, and manage a high-performing team of professionalsWhy Join Us Here at Datacom?Datacom is one of Australia and New Zealand's largest suppliers of Information Technology professional services.
