Senior Mental Health Clinician
This role is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of young people experiencing mental health challenges. As a Senior Mental Health Clinician, you will be working within a dynamic team to provide high-quality care and support to individuals and families.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in mental health care, including assessment, intervention, and treatment planning. You will also possess strong leadership skills, with the ability to supervise staff and lead group interventions.
* Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver evidence-based mental health care to young people with complex needs
* Coordinate intake, assessment, and referrals for at-risk young people
* Build strong relationships with external stakeholders to promote headspace programs and community awareness initiatives
* Maintain accurate case notes and ensure compliance with policies and procedures
* Participate in Clinical Review Meetings, research initiatives, and service development activities
Requirements:
* Approved tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing) and full registration with AHPRA or AASW
* Extensive experience in mental health care, including crisis intervention and short-term treatment interventions
* Demonstrated expertise in service systems, legislation, and government policies related to youth mental health
* Leadership skills, including supervision of staff and leading group interventions
