OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Electrical Supervisor, the role is responsible for installing, maintaining and repairing the electrical and instrumentation systems at Binduli and Paddington Operations' fixed plant (Processing Mill) and its surrounding work sites, safely and efficiently. Work is to be compliant with all relevant statutory requirements and health and safety regulations.
DUTIES
* Undertake preventative maintenance inspections and equipment repairs including component change-out.
* Diagnose faults and plant/equipment breakdowns.
* Conduct regular inspections of tooling, equipment, work areas and plant to identify hazards, operational compliance, damage and defects.
* Prepare time and material estimates for planned tasks and enter associated parts orders.
* Report any hazards, accidents or injuries immediately to your direct supervisor.
* Assist new employees and contractors with the application of Company Policies and Procedures.
* Maintain required licensed trade knowledge to ensure compliant and safe electrical work practices.
* Perform any other duties as required.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
* Minimum of 2 years of mine site fixed plant electrical experience.
* Minimum of 4 years post‐apprenticeship electrical work experience.
* Unrestricted WA Electrical Licence.
* High Voltage Switching certification (desirable).
* High Risk Work Licence Certifications:
* Forklift (desirable).
* Elevated Work Platform (desirable).
* Non‐slewing crane (desirable).
